Bay’s Experience with LEED Projects

What is LEED?
LEED stands for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design. This certification system for green buildings was developed by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), an organization whose mission is to promote buildings that are environmentally responsible, profitable, and healthy places to live and work.
LEED focuses on providing an integrated approach to the planning, design, construction, and operation of a building and aims to minimize the use of natural resources while lowering operation costs.
With ratings from Certified to Platinum, LEED performance areas include sustainable sites; water efficiency; energy and atmosphere; materials and resources; and indoor environmental quality.
