Bay was the prime
contractor for construction of a new 15,000 sq. ft. USDA
Agricultural Research Service Headhouse and Vegetable Lab addition
to the Clemson University Coastal Research & Education Center.
The project includes:

Construction
of one-story addition to exiting facility

Storage rooms
mechanical room on mezzanines

Three growth
chambers inside the Headhouse

Site work,
pilings, slab on grade, steel frame, CMU, pre-cast concrete lintels,
metal studs

Painting,
tile work, masonry work, carpet
-
Standing-seam
metal roof, single-ply membrane room and all architectural finishes
-
All utilities
(storm, sewer, electrical, telephone, data, etc.)

Phase II of
facility renovations, Headhouse and five greenhouse, was awarded to
Bay Electric.
