Project Title: Langley AFB OPS Feeder Replacement

Project Description:
The project is located at Langley Air Force Base in Hampton, VA. This project will consist of installation of a new 22 kilovolt (KV) 3 phase, primary distribution circuit from an existing 25 KV switch located at the Shellbank substation. The new 22 KV circuit will replace an old and deteriorated 5 KV overhead/underground circuit currently serving 13 buildings. The new 22 KV circuit will provide a loop; consisting of 13 transformers and 6 air switches, originates at the Shellbank substation heading North and Northeast providing a loop the Base Ops Facilities between the switch at Facility 371 and 374. All of the pad-mounted switches will be 200 ampere, dead front, non-fused, contain a minimum of one spare compartment for future use.
